Nicole Martin, CPC, CHC, CEO and founder of Community Healthcare Alliance for Financial Advocacy (CHAFA) has been working from the ground up in the healthcare industry for 30 years. She has worked in every administrative position in a medical practice and has been a medical coder since 2007. She secured her healthcare compliance certification over 10 years ago and has served as a healthcare fraud investigator for WellCare health plan as well as multiple large hospital systems. Ms. Martin has extensive experience navigating the health insurer landscape and has worked for a variety of well-known health plans including Cigna, Florida Blue Cross, and WellCare. Nicole Martin is a member of the American Academy of Professional Coders (AAPC) as well as the Healthcare Compliance Association (HCCA).
